Customer Reviews Too hard for beginners, not deep enough for experts, December 11, 2001 Reviewer: A reader from LA CA USA This book lacks structure, details and an editorial hand. You can buy better, cheaper. Has ALL syntax and reference of every command needed!!!, November 17, 2001 Reviewer: David Schiessel from Corona, CA This book has already helped me with answering my quesrions of how to implement a database using ASP. Besides the mimor annoyances of typos here and there (should have edited better), this book is the one-stop resource for ASP Code. Excellent book for any level of developer, November 6, 2001 Reviewer: A reader from Kansas City, KS As stated in the other reviews, the book has it all. I am constantly finding myself flipping through the reference it contains. The index for the reference is categorized so efficiently it makes life much easier. The sample code provided covers many commonly found areas of ASP development, and is self documenting. I am extremely satisfied with the content found within it and would recommend it to developers of any level of experience. To be very critical... This book stinks!, November 5, 2001 Reviewer: Reader from Piedmont, CA United States The only thing this book is useful for is reference. Even then, it's very poor reference. The code samples are full of errors and inconsistencies. I would not recommend this book. You can get better learning and reference material online. |
