Customer Reviews Reviewer: A reader from New Brunswick, NJ To the point and stripped of marketing, this book will get you understanding the intracacies of XML in a few hours. Reviewer: Nimesh Khatri from Helotes, TX United States If you want to learn the guts of XML and want do it in a short period of time, then this is the right book. The book starts out very well with everything you should know about XML (XML Syntax, Namespace, Well formed XML, DTD etc.) in a few pages and then gets to the core XSLT, XPath, programming DOM and SAX, and finally XML Schema. A very good read that serves the purpose. Reviewer: weerich from Florida Just a quick note for all you people looking to pick up these notes... well if you are like me, and reading 300 pages on your computer screen makes your eyes go to hell... then don't buy this. You don't get the rights to even print the damn thing, and are stuck staring at your screen like a deer in headlights. Make sure to take long breaks in between each chapter, as I find bashing my head on my desk helps relieve some of the eye strain. Reviewer: A reader from Redmond, WA USA This series of books is great for getting a handle on the new technologies. They are written in a straightforward manner to provide maximum information in minimal time and investment. |
